Presented by Under The Blue Moon - Over 13 cutting edge designers & retailers will showcase designs, from the very elegant neo-Victorian corsetry of Gallery Serpentine to the high fetish latex designs of Matt Bylett .
“The audience can enter the world of the fascinating, fetishistic and fiery, the romantic and risqué, subversive and sexy” says Liz Evanov, producer. “It will be a true morph of alternative fashion and performance where fashion comes alive on the catwalk in a way not seen before in Sydney..burlesque divas and piratical fiends are all part of the viewing pleasure.”
Couture costume piercing by Polymorph’s Modified Souls (as featured on Enough Rope) will also be a key feature of this year’s show.
All ticket holders will receive a fashion voucher showbag for the alternative fashion precinct of Enmore and Newtown.
Lunarmorph was originally the brainchild of locally based designers and boutiques in Enmore and neighbouring Newtown to showcase what this alternative arts, retail & fashion district of Sydney has to offer.
The show has grown in popularity, with last year’s show selling out at the Carriageworks.
Lunarmorph 2 will be a feature event of Under the Blue Moon Festival – Australia’s festival of all things darkly beautiful which begins this September 27.
