Due to circumstances beyond our control we have been forced to make a change to the advertised programme for LaLeche!. Please read on for the full details.
The Metro Theatre has within the last few hours encountered an unforeseen licensing issue which means that LaLeche! will now run from 8:00pm Sunday 3 October until 3:00am Monday 4 October.
Our official after party, ‘After Dark’, is now free entry for all LaLeche! ticket holders. It will now be held at the Midnight Shift to accommodate increased production, and free buses will transport all LaLeche! attendees directly from the Metro Theatre to the Midnight Shift. In addition, we are offering all attendees $5.00 house spirits, beers and wines from 8:00PM – 10:00PM.
Finally, due to the exceptional circumstances, we are offering a free ticket to Freemasons on New Years Day (‘Day One’) to the first one hundred LaLeche! ticket holders through the door!

The cream of Sydney will go white for the night on Sunday October 3rd (Labour Day Long Weekend) as Europe’s most hedonistic gay & lesbian white party, La Leche!, comes to Australia for the very first time. This Official Sleaze Ball After Party will set a new standard for decadence in production and entertainment across one of Sydney’s most iconic venues – the Metro Theatre.
Already a white hot party phenomenon, La Leche! is part of Europe’s famous Matinée Group and has brought it’s particular brand of orgiastic excess to cities across the world from Ibiza, where Amnesia has played host to 10,000 of the most outrageously dressed revelers the island has ever seen, to London, Barcelona and New York. From Balearic Adonises to music mad club kids, Amazonian drag queens to white swathed goddesses, La Leche! will be the most delicious crowd Sydney has ever seen.Travelling all the way from Barcelona where she became the first ever female Matinée All Star DJ is Lydia Sanz. This young but experienced DJ has won over a dedicated international fanbase with her unique mix of European house. The last few years have marked a stunning ascent that has seen Lydia playing at some of the world’s biggest parties including Space and Amnesia (Ibiza), Pacha, Colosseum (London) and the Matinée Winter Festival. But Lydia hasn’t forgotten the gay and lesbian fans who supported her as she took her first steps, regularly rewarding them with sets at major pride events and the world’s most revered gay and lesbian clubs.
Joining Lydia will be some of Australia’s biggest DJs including iconic legend of house Alex Taylor, international drag sensation and superstar DJ Kitty Glitter, man-about-town Dan Murphy, founding member of elite DJ fraternity the Oxford Hustlers, Murray Hood and underground sensation MC Glammer. They’ll be joined by a plethora of the hottest dancers, acrobats aerialists and performance artists ever seen across the legendary Metro stage, plus a light and sound spectacular from a team totally dedicated to audio-visual perfection.
