In early 2011 Daniel Townes recorded a stand up comedy DVD and swore he’d never tell those jokes again. This new show is bare bones comedy and totally experimental, some of it will crash and burn and some will be amazing. Come and see one of Sydney’s favourite comedians fall flat on his face at least a few times in an hour.

Townes began performing comedy in late 2003 and since emerging on the local scene as one of the countries hottest prospects he’s taken his gags global, performing in Singapore, Germany, Spain, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, Holland, and all over the UK. As well as being a regular at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Sydney’s Comedy Festival he has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the prestigious invite only Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

His 2011 Comedy Festival show ‘Murphy’s Law’ was the follow up to his DVD recording and was shortlisted for both the Peoples Choice award and the Sydney’s Best Comedian award, in the 2011 Time Out magazine, Sydney Comedy Festival awards.

This new show looks set to be a whole hell of a lot of fun.
