Comedian Mel Buttle and Patience from The Grates have their very own homemade podcast, The Minutes. No big deal you guys but The Minutes debuted at #2 on the iTunes charts, not bad for two girls from Brisbane, with a growing legion of fans and a desire to find out for themselves if Rooty Hill is a real place, Mel and Patience decided that it was time to do The Minutes Live.
Mel and Patience developed The Minutes, over tea and lamingtons on Patience’s couch in 2011, since then they’ve bantered their way into the hearts of the nation. With thousands of downloads, and the stars of the music and comedy industries begging for a guest spot on The Minutes, how are your feathers Hamish and Andy? Cos they look ruffled.
Patience Hodgson is the high-energy front woman of chart topping, ARIA nominated band The Grates, and Mel Buttle is the rising star of radio Triple J and stand-up. Together, they are BFFs with a killer podcast.
