Now in its fourteenth year, Short+Sweet will be showcasing 160 brand new scripts from Australian and international writers, developed by fresh blood and established directors, and performed by veteran actors and new talent

Showcasing twenty different plays across two programmes each week, with ten different plays a night, the only requirement for Short+Sweet plays is that they must be 10 minutes or less.

Short+Sweet Sydney is the biggest short play festival in the world and enables hundreds of artists an opportunity to write, perform, develop, and direct, while encouraging audiences to see some brand new works on stage!
