Australia’s most progressive metal act, Dirty Wolves, launch their second international tour ‘Rise in Vengeance’ commencing Feb 2017. Following their critically acclaimed debut album Creation & Chaos, released through GuitarBaby/MGM, this 2 piece prog metal onslaught will hit the Factory Floor on February 24 for only their second Sydney show ever. They will be double headlining with the breathtaking, female-fronted prog rock outfit Red Sea.

Dirty Wolves are a thundering powerhouse of complex polyrhythms and adventurous prog metal. Fans of TOOL, Deftones and Mastodon are joining ‘the Wolves’ by the thousands as they tour their epic debut album Creation & Chaos. The 12 track concept album covers the universal themes of power, lies and corruption, it has been 3 years in the making but feels nothing but topical in 2016. With each song exploring the notions of formation, destruction and control Creation & Chaos is a truly remorseless prog metal experience. Skuewolf (Alex Hermes) and Monster Mutt (Graeme Young) of Dirty Wolves have bought new meaning to the term Hairy Metal. A Dirty Wolves show is an intense journey that will leave you wondering how the hell a 2 piece can create such a massive experience.

“This is real PROG! Pushing boundaries through technical ability. It’s not just an album, it’s an intellectual masterpiece.” Rick Will 3 x Grammy nom (Nine Inch Nails, Incubus, Fear Factory, Johnny Cash)

Red Sea are taking Australia by storm with their debut EP, Battlescar, released through GuitarBaby/MGM and have just announced their second international tour. Red Sea have a brand new sound that has been likened to a fascinating love-child of Muse, A Perfect Circle and Evanescence. The EP Battlescar treads a line between heavy rock/metal, melodic progressive rock and alternative metal, thundering, often intricate drums, heavy layered guitars, fat punchy bass and powerhouse vocals run through all tracks. This prog rock 4 piece are fronted by powerhouse vocalist Erica Bowron and are one of the best live bands in the country. Their debut EP Battlescar is complex, beautiful and mesmerising and their live show has been described as “explosive and seductive” and “jaw-dropping”.

“…surging rhythms, ravaging riffs and powerful melodies…immense vocal presence and an emotional weight that grips and ceases to let go…newly-charted musical ground.” The Brag

Don’t miss your chance to see what Australia’s rock and metal press are raving about when Dirty Wolves and Red Sea plus special guests Simple Stone, James Davies, Dustin Petritsch and Simon Hart hit the Factory Floor on Friday 24th February!
