Following a truly epic twelve months of 10th birthday celebrations across Europe, we’re extremely excited to have the Med School brand come down under for the first time!
Line Up Royalston Keeno Etherwood Pearse-Hawkins Plus more TBA!
Etherwood is undoubtedly one of the most promising young talents in the scene today. Originally from Lincoln and now living in London, Woody has already captured the imagination of thousands across the globe with his achingly beautiful beats and heartfelt melodies.
Fusing the upbeat energy of drum & bass with the chilled, atmospheric moods of reverb-heavy guitar and delayed piano rolls, it’s hard to believe that Etherwood only started producing drum & bass two years ago. Already he’s received support from Radio One, 1Xtra, Capital FM, XFM, Triple J and Rinse FM and has remixed high profile artists including Lana Del Rey, Jakwob, Gorgon City and Alex Clare.

Having been named in Knowledge Magazine’s top 20 producers to watch out for in 2013 and with support from the likes of London Elektricity, S.P.Y, Camo & Krooked, BCee and many more, he’s moving up in the scene fast. The UK-based producer is rapidly becoming synonymous for his ability to add orchestral and cinematic elements to Drum & Bass on a grand scale whilst retaining a strong dancefloor impact.
Keeno’s remixes are infamous in the scene. Most notably his remix of “Get Out” by Casey Abrams rose to No.1 in the Estonian and Lithuanian charts and is going down a storm on YouTube. And along with long-term collaborater Whiney, another young star, together they have been turning heads with their remix of S.P.Y’s iconic “By Your Side” – the remix had the whole scene begging for a release.

Sydney-based, classically trained, DJ / producer Dylan Martin (middle name “Royalston”) has been listening to Drum + Bass since ’93, producing for 12 years and DJ-ing for about 10. A man of many talents, Royalston is also an illustrator / designer and first got into music production when he was making a soundtrack to a 3D animation. His music is characterized by a raw, analogue sound with a techy edge, (thanks to plenty of hardware like his favourite Korg MS-20), and he has released on labels such as Bad Taste and Black Acre before signing exclusively to Med School in 2012.
