Jeeves’ shows are a snapshot of his life.
His first show, He’s Just Not That India, was about coming out to his parents as a comedian and being who you want to be.
His second show, Its My Chapati and I’ll Cry If I Want To, was an argument against succumbing to the cultural and family pressures of getting married and being who you want to be.
This show is about giving in to the idea of getting married. And maybe the idea of being who you want to be is in fact a fantasy and maybe you should give up all your hopes and dreams and just get married, already cos time is running out!!!!!
Jeeves explores the idea of long term relationships and if they really are worth investing in. He also toys with the possibility of inviting a non-Indian partner home to meet the family – which is Jeeves’ final fear.
If you like good clean family-friendly comedy, come and see this show!
