Sarath (its pronounced Sir-Wrath) takes you on a quaint journey through the maelstrom of life as a brown kid growing up in Australia.

Raised in Queensland with Indian heritage, Sarath’s a functioning office worker with loving parents who just want him to be happy (but only if that includes a wife and kids).

But after having his application as a potential contestant on ‘The Bachelorette’ rejected, Sarath set out on a journey of vigorous introspection that led him to realise that the rules may be a little different for him in this big bad world.

This is his first solo Sydney Comedy Festival show after his successful run at the 2017 Sydney Comedy Fringe ‘How to make it in Sydney’ in 2017 and the Adelaide Fringe Festival debut show ‘How to make it in Straya!’ earlier this year.

You’ll laugh and cry with Sarath as he wins you over with a few funny quips and emotionally blackmails you into liking him (with his superhuman neediness). All forms of validation welcome!
