Just 7 months after its previous show, Black Party (A.K.A. Heypa) is set to return to the stage of Sydney’s Factory Theatre (Marrickville) on November 24 (Saturday) for another event celebrating the love for music.

In the last 5 years, there has been 7 successful Black Party events, establishing itself as one of Australia’s leading indie music festival dedicated to promoting Chinese music and culture through live experiences brought to you by local artists.

Rock ‘n’ roll has been the theme of Black Party’s past events. While it still plays a major role, more music styles are introduced to respond to and better represent the changing taste of the audience.

The keyword for this event – “elements” – means that music being a necessary element in our lives has many faces, so we don’t have to exclude any kind of music elements from ourselves. That being said, prepare to hear some dope beats from uprising Sydney-based Chinese hip hop artists Garfield.W and Zhengyigan. Regulars like Edenfall, Nobody’s Home (Melbourne), and Consequential Karma will also bring the fans their new works as well as hit songs. In addition, new band Crush will return after their debut at Black Party’s previous event back in April. Last but not least, Azure is back in the lineup since their last appearance 3 years ago.

Presented by Kleen Production, produced by H Music and VV Star in association with Chinatown Music, the event has received huge supports from the community, local media and sponsors. Titled by VE Finance, you are guaranteed to get much more than just crazy loud music.

You may have noticed that for the first time, the poster of Black Party is packed with logos and commercial factors, but that doesn’t mean it has changed. Black Party is still a not-for-profit event and deep down inside music will always be the core of Black party.

Thanks to all the supports provided by organisations and businesses, ticket prices have stayed relatively affordable at AUD25 each, so every fan can attend the events.

Your love for music deserves a music festival like no other. On November 24, Black Party will return to Sydney’s Factory Theatre (Marrickville).

Welcome home!
