August Auzins is an idealised character and vehicle for the songwriting of Hunter Auzins, brought to life by musicians Pat McCarthy, Arlen McCarthy And Jonny Sandstrom. Born to oppose personal paralysis, August is a fearless shadow & unreliable narrator for an awareness that shifts between absurdity and perfect clarity.

The band members are old friends and collaborators from projects Hunch, City Rose, Enclave, Lorelei & Mac The Knife.

Sinister is the first single of their debut EP.

The single and music video directed by Bryn Chapman Parish, August & Cassidy McDermott Smith will be released 26/2/21
