“To all the Hi-Vis that thought I was a hooker- thanks. I think. To the Hi-Vis that paid me even though I said you didn’t have to: also thanks!”

On the hunt for Big Pumpkins, Crocs & Meat-Ants, & men in hi-vis, in 2020 hot-mess trans New Yorker (tho originally from country Oz) Glace Chase embarked on an epic Outback roadtrip adventure.

She was meant to have a career-defining year writing & starring in Triple X at Sydney Theatre Company. Instead she was homeless, jobless & stuck in Brisbane. Yay Covid!

But better to die by the hands of a rancher than of total boredom so Glace hit the road. Glace’s Big Things is a whack new story-telling comedy (with occasional song) featuring dorm rooms, sleeping rough, termite mounds, and Really Big Things. Cars aren’t the only things that break down…

Who is Glace?

A fixture of NYC’s downtown queer comedy scene she’s a trans-queen / comedienne / playwright / tour guide / bipolar / ho. Glace recently (finally!) wrote & starred in Triple X at STC, she created the world’s first drag queen tour guide biz, won a bunch of playwriting awards, has made audience members cry, signed NDAs, got one hundred 5 star reviews on Trip Adviser & was runner up for Miss Subways Pageant. Outcalls only.

“Who the F*** is Dr Zizmor” asked Glace and the audience was aghast. It cost her the coveted Miss Subways title” – Gothamist
