We’re incredibly excited to announce this special one-night-only celebration of the music and legacy of the great Jeff Beck at the Factory Theatre.

Widely regarded as one of the most expressive, innovative and influential guitarists of all time aswell as Jimmy Hendrix and David Gilmour’s favourite. Jeff Beck continually pushed the boundaries of rock, blues, fusion and instrumental music. His fearless creativity and unmistakable voice on the guitar has inspired generations of musicians around the world.

To honour that legacy, Paul Mason has assembled an extraordinary cast of Australian musicians.

Paul Mason is an Australian guitarist, composer, and performer of Wiradjuri and convict descent. He is a highly versatile musician working across jazz, rock, and contemporary music, recognised for his expressive playing and musical range. Paul has performed alongside artists including Sting, Harry Connick Jr., Jessica Mauboy, and James Morrison, as well as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. He has has also appeared as a solo artist at major festivals including the Adelaide International Guitar Festival and The Girrakool Blues Festival.

Joining him for the evening is the legendary Mahalia Barnes, one of Australia’s most respected and celebrated soul, gospel and rock vocalists. Across a remarkable career, Mahalia is a defining figure in Australian soul music, carrying forward a rich musical legacy while establishing herself as one of the country’s most powerful and distinctive voices.

Also appearing is Australian guitar icon Brett Garsed. Revered by guitarists worldwide for his groundbreaking technique, fluid phrasing and musicality, Brett’s influence extends far beyond Australia’s shores. Known to many as John Farnham’s longtime guitarist, his role in Farnham’s music is every bit as integral as the relationship between Dominic Miller and Sting — a guitarist whose artistry has helped define the sound of one of Australia’s most beloved artists.

The evening will also feature acclaimed Australian guitarists Ben Rogers, Franco Raggatt, Ollie Thorpe, aswell as an absolutely mighty band consisting of Gordon Rytmeister on drums, Noel Mason on bass and Fenix Martinez on keyboards . 

Together they’ll be perform music spanning Jeff Beck’s remarkable career, celebrating the virtuosity, emotion, innovation and spontaneity that made him the alfather of guitar.
