Sydney’s creative calendar is getting a bold refresh this March with the return of OUR OWN FESTIVAL, formerly ÈKÓ FEST – evolving from its POC diaspora roots into a broader, multicultural celebration of music, art, fashion and culture.

Created by popular Sydney brand Little Lagos, the festival has merged with Our Own Festival to reach a larger audience and returns to where it all began at The Factory Theatre in Marrickville on Sunday 15 March from 1pm-7pm.

The 2026 program will feature live music performances SOLI, MILA, DAYANI and more alongside visual artworks by RICHMOND KOBLA, MUSONGA MBOGO HAMEED AKINWANDE and others.

A fashion pop-up by favourite streetwear collective TOO NOISY will be on site along with exclusive festival merchandise.

Festival-goers can also expect authentic West African and Caribbean cuisine, with food offerings expanding this year to include Middle Eastern, Latin American and Pacific Islander flavours.
