We know you wish there were instruments in this show. We know you wish we were a band, or even an orchestra. But the GAI (Gays Against Instruments) stand in stubborn defiance of your foolish love of our stringéd enemies. All we need is our voices, and our passion for destroying the accurséd horns that we hate bigtime.
Join us for an evening blessedly instrument-free music by our favourite queer artists as we celebrate Mardi Gras the way it was meant to be celebrated - with an a cappella concert. One hour of bops, tunes, anthems, and anti-instrument propaganda, from the mouths of Sydney's gayest choir nerds.
Please do not bring any instruments. They will be destroyed.

Gays Against Instruments would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Cadigal and Wangal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging, and remind everyone that sovereignty was never ceded, and this always was and always will be Aboriginal land. The land where we sing is the same land where First Nations people having been singing and telling stories for more than 50,000 years.
