Matt Charleston is a singer/songwriter from Southern Sydney, highly influenced by the blues and rock genres. Matt offers a style of music that also incorporates the elements of funk and folk genres. Since picking up the guitar at the age of 15, Matt has been writing music, taking after his rhythm and blues influences in John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Cory Wong. 2023 has been a year of highlights; seeing Matt perform a flurry of shows across New South Wales and into the southern state of Victoria since releasing his second album: 'Unify.'. With much success, Matt has also had the opportunity to open for locally renowned artists Chloe Kay & The Crusade, Krystal Rivvers and played at Cronulla's Jazz and Blues Festival.

Matt has since released two singles with great success, displaying his blues roots and Mayer-like guitar licks in style, and now is the 'next page' in his journal of his journey - the release of his latest EP 'Coffee & A Table for One'
