When a friendless June says yes to church camp this summer, she finds herself entangled with the cheerful, charming and intensely evangelical Maggie. June cannot work out what it is, but there’s something about Maggie that she finds addictive. Maggie’s hot. But hot in the biblical sense.

Written by a true survivor of the church, Notes on (Church) Camp follows three teenagers grappling with their own sexualities as they struggle to fight off temptation in order to save themselves from eternal damnation. Pray for them.

Notes on (Church) Camp has been developed on unceded Gadigal and Bidjigal land. So-called Australia is home to the longest living cultures of storytelling and spirituality, and sovereignty of this country has never been ceded. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
