Back after sold-out shows at Sydney Fringe

Three men on a balcony. Coastal NSW in the 2010s. A bucks weekend. They’re waiting for a sex worker named Chloe. She was booked hours ago. She’s definitely coming. Probably. What starts as larrikin banter (crude, funny, authentically Australian) slowly reveals something rawer underneath: grief, loyalty, the performance of masculinity. Then the night takes a turn none of them expected.

Waiting for Chloe is a short, sharp new Australian play. Intimate, funny and quietly unsettling.

“Hilarious and compelling. Shines an uncomfortable spotlight on Australian masculinity.”
